The principle of electromagnetic speed regulating motor

Update:24 Sep 2021

Electromagnetic speed-regulating motor is a motor manufacturer that installs an electromagnetic slip fuser and measuring coil on an ordinary motor. The speed governor is used to control the current in the field winding of the electromagnetic slip fuser and regulate the electromagnetic speed-regulating motor. Output speed.

Therefore, the electromagnetic speed regulating motor is also called the slip motor. Electromagnetic speed-regulating motor has a large speed-regulating ratio, simple layout, and convenient control. It is suitable for textile, chemical, food and other household products.

The slip fuser is composed of the active part and the driven part. The active part is the outer rotor of the fuser, which rotates firmly and together with the shaft of the motor; the driven part is composed of the excitation winding, the magnetic pole (inner rotor), the slip ring and the shaft. constitute.

The armature of the condenser is rotated by an asynchronous motor. If there is no power supply to the field winding on the magnetic pole through the brush and slip ring, the driven part will not rotate. If a DC current is applied to the field windings on the magnetic poles through the brushes and slip rings, magnetic flux will be generated on the magnetic poles, and the lines of magnetic force will pass through the armature. The rotation of the armature causes the magnetic flux at each point in the armature to undergo constant and repeated changes. , And the armature is made of solid ferromagnetic materials, so eddy currents will occur, and the eddy currents are contaminated with the magnetic pole flux to generate torque, and the torque drives the output shaft to drive the load.

The magnetic field of the slip fuse is generated by direct current. Due to the rotation of the armature, the magnetic field of the magnetic pole acts as a cutting armature. By changing the size of the excitation DC current in the field winding of the magnetic pole and the size of the eddy current in the armature at the same time, the output torque and speed of the slip condenser can be adjusted. The greater the excitation current, the greater the output torque, and under certain load torque, the higher the output speed.

The machine characteristic curve of electromagnetic speed regulating motor is very soft. Under the inevitable excitation current, the load has a slight bump and the speed changes greatly, and it is often unable to meet the requirements of the production machine. For this reason, the speed negative feedback is usually recovered from the tachogenerator to control the speed.
