Installation method and working principle of planetary reducer

In the reducer family, cycloid pinwheel reducer is widely used in servo, stepping, DC and other transmission systems because of its small size, high transmission efficiency, wide deceleration range and high precision. Correct installation, use and maintenance of the reducer is an important link to ensure the normal operation of mechanical equipment. Therefore, when installing the planetary reducer, please be sure to assemble and use it in strict accordance with the following installation and use related matters.
First, before installation, confirm whether the motor and reducer are in good condition, and strictly check whether the dimensions of all parts connected between the motor and reducer match. Here are the dimensions and matching tolerance of positioning boss, input shaft and reducer groove of the motor.
Second, screw off the screw on the dust-proof hole on the outer side of the reducer flange, adjust the PCS system clamping ring to align its side hole with the dust-proof hole, and insert the inner hexagon to tighten. After that, remove the motor shaft key.
Third, connect the motor and reducer naturally. When connecting, the concentricity of the output shaft of the reducer and the input shaft of the motor must be the same, and the outer flanges of the two must be parallel. If the centrality is inconsistent, the motor shaft will be broken or the reducer gear will be worn.
Before connecting the motor and the reducer, the motor shaft keyway shall be perpendicular to the tightening bolt. During installation, it is strictly prohibited to hit with a hammer or the like to prevent the bearing or gear from being damaged by excessive axial or radial force. Be sure to tighten the mounting bolts before tightening the force bolts. The correct installation between reducer and mechanical equipment is similar to that between reducer and drive motor. The key is to ensure that the concentricity of the output shaft of the reducer is consistent with that of the shaft of the driven part.
