1) According to the different structure of the motor itself, it can be divided into the following categories:
The improved DC servo motor has smaller moment of inertia, stronger overload capacity and better commutation performance.
The small inertia DC motor can reduce the moment of inertia of the rotor to the maximum and obtain the best fast performance.
Permanent magnet DC servo motor can work for a long time with large overload torque, large moment of inertia, no loss of excitation circuit, and can operate at low speed.
Brushless DC motor is composed of synchronous motor and inverter, and the inverter is controlled by rotor position sensor installed on the rotor.
2) According to the different excitation modes of DC motor to excitation winding, it can be divided into four types: separate excitation, parallel excitation, series excitation and compound excitation.
